Blake Lively “sabotaged” Ryan Reynolds’ workout regime with baked goods.

The pair star together in the superhero movie ‘The Green Lantern.’ While Reynolds battled to get in shape for his costume, Lively made him calorific treats so she would look better than him on screen.

“It was just a way to sabotage Ryan. He was working out as much as he was, and I’m the girl. I’m supposed to look better,” Lively said.

However Reynolds, who admitted baked goods are his weakness, was happy to scoff Lively’s food.

“[For] most actors, it’s coke and guns. For me, it’s baked goods,” Lively said.

Lively, who cites Martha Stewart and British chef Nigella Lawson as her “idols,” had previously spoken of her baking obsession and said she would love to own her own bakery one day.

She explained: “Martha Stewart’s my idol. I like Nigella Lawson too. And of course, Paula Deen – butter, butter, butter! The only time I really go on the internet is for recipes.

“I want to have a brunch place, a bakery, and a Southern restaurant – because my family’s from Georgia – and then I want a place that is all-over-the-world cuisine.

“I take a cooking class everywhere I travel. I find it’s the best way to get to know a culture.”

Holiday Workout Video and Top 10 Tips To Prevent Weight Gain

1. Limit your intake of calorie laden beverages. Eggnog, champagne, mochas, and hot chocolate all have one thing in common: they are packed with empty calories – avoid these beverages and load up on water instead.

2. Officially schedule exercise into your calendar. It’s just too easy to let workouts slide this time of year – make a commitment to exercise and keep it.

3. Forgo the goodie-making. By keeping your home free from holiday treats you will undoubtedly gain fewer pounds. However, if you simply have to make those Christmas cookies then chew gum during the baking process to prevent snacking.

4. Have fun being active. Winter is a great time to burn calories outdoors. Go skiing for a day or take the kids sledding. No snow in sight? No problem. Take a brisk bike ride or power walk through the mall.

5. Use healthy ingredients. Your holiday meal will taste even better when you seek out fresh, organic and low fat ingredients – and you’ll feel better too.

6. Learn to compromise. Dying to have that peppermint mocha? Go ahead – but have it with nonfat milk and pass on the whipped cream.

7. Don’t go hungry. The holidays are a dangerous time for your metabolism. Focus on eating small, balanced meals every few hours to keep your metabolism going strong.

8. Enjoy a sample. No one says you have to completely avoid the appetizers and desserts at your holiday party – just enjoy in moderation.

9. Focus on family, not food. Let’s face it, this time of year is big on two things: family and food. Make an effort to place your focus primarily on your family.

10. Stick to your strategy. The best way to gain weight over the holidays is to approach them without a plan. Using the above tips, write down the ways in which you plan to avoid weight gain this year. Then periodically check up on yourself.

So there you have it…make this that “special” time of year when you exercise both your body and your self-control. You can do it!

Christina Milian Workout Strip-a-robics

DOB: September 26, 1981
Christine Flores , better known by her stage name Christina Milian, is an American R&B and pop singer-songwriter, record producer, dancer, actress, and model. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, Milian moved to Los Angeles when she was 13 years old, desiring to be an actress. By the age of 17, Milian had begun writing songs to help obtain a recording contract. Milian has released three studio albums, and has finished recording a fourth, Elope, which is scheduled for a late 2009 or early 2010 release.

Christina Milian has a sexy way of staying in shape – ‘Strip-a-robics’.

The ‘Dip It Low’ singer has revealed she honed her stunning figure by attending raunchy aerobics classes, which involved pole-dancing and seductive moves.

She confessed: “Last year, me and four friends went to ‘Strip-a-robics’. It was so much fun! It was an hour and a half so you got a real workout but at the same time, it was very sexual – it was so hot.”

But when Christina tried to recreate the steamy moves in the privacy of her own home, she found it difficult without her own lap-dancing pole.

She admitted: “I tried to do it at home but it didn’t work – I need to put a pole in my bedroom, I think!”

Christina has also revealed she would strip off on screen – but not for another ten years.

Milian works out six days a week. Her workout includes 30 minutes of running on the treadmill, then she will do situps, lunges and squats.

The teeny 5ft 2 star admits she has a weakness for junk food. When asked what her biggest vice is, Christina replied “Cheetos, Oreos, everything terrible!” Christina had to start watching what she eats after suffering an allergic reaction to radishes. “I had hives everywhere for a month! I thought, I can’t control this, but I can control the way I look and be fit.”

Christina Milian knows a bit about dieting, when she was 16 she was quite chubby and lost a total of 25 pounds.“My friend Jessica Biel taught me about healthy eating. We would have beans and apples as a snack.”

Megan Fox Esquire Video

Megan Denise Fox (born May 16, 1986) is an American actress and model (Transformers 2007). The actress spends 30 minutes of her time doing cardio exercises that flatten and tone her abs. She begins with warm-up movements like butterfly crunch or front planks and then she gets down to business with knee-ups, leg swings and ball leg lifts.

These are meant to work on the upper part of her body. She then mixes the cardio moves with Pilates or cycling for another 30 – 45 minutes to round out her workout.

Planks: Megan’s workout relied heavily on planks. Hollywood Trainer, Craig Ballantyne “Planks are by far the best move for women to get sexy, flat abs like Megan”.

A Brief Ab Circuit: After blitzing her abs with planks, she would then spend 15-20 minutes doing a circuit that involved knee ups, leg swings, and ball leg lifts. This is done in an interval like fashion. Hard effort with just a little rest and back to a tough exercise. The idea is to do 3-4 different exercises back-to-back, rest 30-60 seconds, then do it again. Repeat for 15-20 minutes.

Old School Stationary Bike: She then took advantage of the increased heart rate by finishing off with 30 minutes of cycling. This was done with low intensity.

DIET

As for her diet, Megan is careful about her daily meals and really focuses on eating a healthy breakfast so she has lots of energy and doesn’t overeat later on in the day. She loves eggs and usually has them every day. Megan is also a fan of almonds because she knows they contain filling protein and fiber. They’re also a good source of vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant that will boost the effectiveness of her abs routine effectiveness. She’s a fan of lean protein sources and eats lots of veggies and fruits to keep her full.

Megan eats whole food sources instead of processed foods and avoids grains. This is similar to what many people call the “Paleo Diet”. Which is similar to eating like our ancestors.

A Description of the Paleo Diet

Avoid Grains: Hunters and Gatherers ate fruits and vegetables as their carbohydrates. The human body was meant to eat fruits and vegetables, not grains.

Lot’s of Natural Sources of Protein: Things like nuts, eggs, and meat is a great source of protein.

Fats Are Good For You: Yes, you heard it right. Megan Fox’s diet had a good amount of fat. She ate an ounce of almonds and a few eggs ever day while preparing for her role in Transformers.

Ali Larter diet and working out

DOB: February 28, 1976

Alison Elizabeth “Ali” Larter is an American actress and former fashion model best known for her screen roles aimed at teenage audiences. Larter can currently be seen on the hit television series Heroes. She has also had roles in successful Hollywood films including, Varsity Blues (1999), House on Haunted Hill (1999), Final Destination (2000), Legally Blonde (2001), Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001), Resident Evil: Extinction (2007) and Obsessed (2009).

In March 2008 Ali was on the front cover of Shape Magazine in March 2008. In that edition, she disclosed her diet, exercise and motivation tips.

”Working out has always been a part of my life,” says Ali, who grew up playing sports like softball and soccer. “Now that I’m in my 30s, it’s become even more important for me to take care of myself.” A dedicated runner, Ali takes advantage of the near-perfect Los Angeles weather with 25-minute morning jogs three or four times a week through the Hollywood Hills. “This is nonnegotiable,” she says of her two- to three-mile run. “I don’t think about it, I just do it. I never, ever miss my workout. Never!”

Ali’s diet is based on portion control. She does not follow any particular system of weight loss and eats sensibly.

She might splurge occasionally and have pasta, champagne as well as chocolate soufflé. The next day, she will have a simple salad for the main meal and a frozen yogurt for the dessert.

Ali sticks to an organic diet and loves cooking her dinners. She avoids eating carbohydrates at night time as they quickly cause her to put on weight. So she would make a sauce with the main dish and add a salad, leaving out bread and pasta.
Ali Larter’s Organic Portion Controlled Diet

* Breakfast: Muesli with vanilla soya milk
* Lunch: Grilled chicken and green salad
* Dinner: Lamb Ragout and green salad
* Workout: In order to stay in shape Ali has always been committed to exercise.

Exercise

Working out is a massive part of her life. Her sporty look is greatly due to her playing sports like soccer and softball and soccer when she was younger.

She makes sure she jogs for at least 25 minutes every evening. She never, ever misses out on her jogs, which are usually 2-3 mile runs.
