Simpson-Wentz, who is the younger sister of pop singer Jessica Simpson, rose to prominence in mid-2004 through the success of her number-one debut album Autobiography and the accompanying reality series The Ashlee Simpson Show. This diet is a classic example of high protein, low carb eating. Most bodybuilders and celebrities will have a cheat meal or cheat day. The idea of this is that eating healthy foods 6 days of the week puts the metabolism in a steady pattern, but with the addition of a cheat food (either a whole day or one meal..one meal is recommended) it will shock the metabolism into working harder and faster. Thus, speeding it up and ultimately losing more weight.

Ashlee Simpson’s workout The workout, for which you need some steps or a bench, a pair of 5- to 7-pound weights, and a jump rope, incorporates tri-sets, three back-to-back moves that work your upper and lower body. The nonstop pace helps you burn extra calories in less time.

0-5 min. Walk, gradually increasing to a jog to warm up.

5-10 min. Tri-set #1: biceps curls (20 reps), squats (25 reps), jumping jacks (45 seconds). Repeat tri-set once.

10-15 min. Tri-set #2: triceps extensions with bridge (20 reps), walking lunges (12 per leg), jump rope (45 seconds). Repeat tri-set once.

15-20 min. Tri-set #3: squats with shoulder raise (20 reps), step-ups onto a bench (20 reps per leg), high-knee jog in place (45 seconds). Repeat tri-set once.

20-25 min. Tri-set #4: reverse crunches (10 to 15 reps), calf raises (20 reps), plank pose (hold for 30 seconds). Repeat tri-set once.

Jean B Cardio Workout treadmill, bike, rowing, and elliptical trainer

Here is a 30 minute treadmill, bike, rowing, and elliptical trainer interval workout routine.

For the treadmill increase the incline to 2, this will simulate running outdoors where your running postion propells you in a forward motion.

Warm up for 5 minutes. Start off walking and then increase to a an easy jog.

30min workout intervals:
5 min.at speed (slow jog)
1 min at speed (run)
2 min at speed (slow jog)
1 min at speed (run)
2 min at speed (slow jog)
1 min at speed (run)
2 min at speed (slow jog)
1 min — Walk or run as fast as you can
2 min at speed (slow jog)
5 min at speed (walk/fast walk)

You can alternate this workout between the treadmill, bike, rowing, and elliptical trainer by changing the intervals and the time according to how you feel. I would reccomend that you always start each exercise with a 5 munite warmup to prevent injury; this will also give you an indication of how intense your workout should be.

Exercising with music breaks the boredom and interval training will make sure your workout is more effective and fun!
