Ellie Goulding create a healthier version

Here are five ways Goulding learned to create a healthier version of the rock ’n’ roll lifestyle.
1. Vary your workout
“When I was 18, I woke up one day and decided to go running — like Forrest Gump,” laughs Goulding. Today, she’s so well known for it that the paparazzi have started snapping her while she jogs in London. But Goulding says she’s moved on to other areas too. “I mix it up a lot. I do boxing, yoga, gymnastics and a lot of intense cardio workouts, too.”

2. And mix up your music, too
Dance music is the preferred soundtrack to most workouts, but Goulding recommends broadening your horizons. “Recently I’ve been putting on music that has more of an epic, orchestral feel to it, like [film composer] Hans Zimmer. You can pretend that you’re running away from the apocalypse!”

3. Don’t let your mind veg out
Catching up with Girls or reading the latest issue of Us Weekly while on the treadmill is no good. Keep your thoughts on the task at hand. “People I know say they think about song ideas when they run but I never do,” the singer says. “I focus on what I’m doing.”

4. But do try turning vegetarian
Goulding is enthusiastic about giving up meat and fish. “You won’t be able to explain why but you’ll feel a lot better,” she chirps. “People say to me that my skin has changed, my face has changed shape. I have more energy and feel like a much happier person.”

5. Remember: Snacks and carbs aren’t the enemy
“I’m just eating some popcorn right now — it’s a healthier option.” For Goulding, the phobia of carbohydrates need not be so intense. “They’re good for working out. Just as long as you do remember to actually work out!”

official site: http://www.lindseyvonn.com

indsey Caroline Vonn (née Kildow; born October 18, 1984) is an American World Cup alpine ski racer who competed with the United States Ski Team. She has won four overall World Cup championships—one of only two female skiers to do so, along with Annemarie Moser-Pröll—with three consecutive titles in 2008, 2009, and 2010,[2] plus another in 2012. Vonn won the gold medal in downhill at the 2010 Winter Olympics, the first ever in the event for an American woman. She has also won six consecutive World Cup season titles in the downhill discipline (2008–2013), four consecutive titles in Super G (2009–2012), and three consecutive titles in the combined (2010–2012).
Vonn is one of six women to have won World Cup races in all five disciplines of alpine skiing – downhill, super G, giant slalom, slalom, and super combined – and has won 59 World Cup races in her career through the end of the 2013 Alpine Skiing World Cup. Only two ski racers have more World Cup victories in their careers, Annemarie Moser-Pröll of Austria with 62 and Ingemar Stenmark of Sweden with 86. With her Olympic gold and bronze medals, two World Championship gold medals in 2009 (plus three silver medals in 2007 / 2011), and four overall World Cup titles, Vonn has become the most successful American skier in history.
Vonn received the Laureus World Sports Awards Sportswoman of the Year for 2010.[6] She was also honored again as the USOC’s sportswoman of the year for 2010.
Vonn is also a correspondent for NBC News covering the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Anastasia Ashley Twerking Warm-Up Dance and Pro Surfer Full Workout

Quick Bio

Anastasia Ashley was born on February 10, 1987, in Los Angeles, California. After moving to Hawaii at the age of 5, Ashley was quickly introduced to what was to become her life’s calling: surfing. Despite being one of — it not the only — girl riding waves at the time, Ashley consistently proved that when it came to surfing, talent did not have a gender. A fact quickly reinforced by Anastasia becoming one of the most visible faces in the sport, as well as one of its most coveted athletes, landing sponsorships with Oakley, Infinity Surfboards, and PowerBar, and becoming one of PETA’s most prominent spokespeople.

Earlier today, this video surfaced of Anastasia Ashley engaging in the most enthusiastic warm-up routine we’ve seen in quite some time. It provoked a storm of feelings for us folks at SURFING Magazine, intrigue being one of them. We called Anastasia to get to the — well — bottom of this.

SURFING Magazine: Was the clip pre-meditated?

Anastasia Ashley: It wasn’t at all! I didn’t put out the video. I just woke up this morning with a bunch of people tweeting and texting me asking about it.

So you knew nothing about it?

No, I didn’t know anything until it was online. I tried reaching out to the people who put it up — it’s some blog or something — but I still haven’t figured out who was behind it. I really have no clue how it went down.

Is that just your normal pre-surf routine?

I always listen to music before I surf. Every contest, that’s kind of my warm-up routine. The one thing that the video doesn’t show is everything else that I do. I do stretches and other things, you know? I try to get loose and that’s just a part of it.

What’s the response to the video been like?

At first, I was kind of taken aback by it. But it’s all been pretty good for the most part. I definitely don’t want people to know me just for that. More than anything, I’m into surfing big waves. I got nominated for an XXL award last year and I’m really excited to keep pursuing that.

Do you do the same warm-up routine before you go surf big waves?

I mean, yeah. Listening to music is a big part of my pre-surf routine. And that’s just my way of warming up.

And we are perfectly OK with that.
