OK Magazine sat down with Denise Richards and got the scoop on what she’s does to keep fit and maintain a healthy lifestyle:

OK Magazine: What’s the best part about exercising?
Denise Richards : I feel healthy and strong, and I love how I feel mentally and physically. This is the first season in a long time that I have felt comfortable on the beach without a sarong covering my bottom.

OK Magazine: Do you find stress causes your weight to fluctuate?
Denise Richards : Stress definitely affects my weight. I am thinner when I’m stressed or have a lot going on.

OK Magazine: With such a busy schedule, is it difficult to find the time to exercise?
Denise Richards : No, because it is part of my lifestyle. I don’t work out only when I’m preparing for a project or shoot or bikini season. Exercising is part of my routine. I try to do it five days a week for an hour. That’s an hour of time to myself, unless the girls come in, but that’s okay too. That’s the luxury of working out at home.

There’s more on working out with two young daughters as well what she wants to instill in them about body image, so read more

OK Magazine: Is it hard to get motivated with two daughters?
Denise Richards : No, my girls motivate me to exercise and eat right! I am a single mom, so I am outnumbered! I need my energy to keep up with them.

OK Magazine: How did you lose weight after having your daughters?
Denise Richards : I am naturally thin, and I feel that I am at a good weight for my body. I work out to be lean and have some definition. Of course my body went through many changes having two babies back to back. For me, losing the weight wasn’t that difficult; I was lucky. And no, I didn’t work out five hours a day, I had to wait six weeks to do anything after each baby because I had a C-section with each birth. I took it very slow getting back into my routine.

OK Magazine: What will you hope to instill in your daughters about body image?
Denise Richards : I will try to teach my daughters to love their body. Sami was looking at Lola and said, “Wow, look at Lola’s big belly,” and I told Sami that Lola has a beautiful belly. Now, Sami tells her sister her belly is beautiful.

OK Magazine: Who do you think has the best body in Hollywood?
Denise Richards : Demi Moore still has the best body in Hollywood!

OK Magazine: What are your favorite food splurges?
Denise Richards : Chips and guacamole. And ice cream!

“Pilates is the only exercise that doesn’t aggravate my back,” says the actress. In addition to feeling better, Denise is also happier with the way she looks. “Pilates was the only workout that made my belly flat again after having two kids,” says Richards. “I just love it.”

Emmanuelle Chriqui

Emmanuelle Chriqui

Full Name: Emmanuelle Sophie Anne Chriqui
DOB: December 10, 1977
Nationality: Canadian
Birth Place: Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Height: 5 ft 3 in (160 cm)

Emmanuelle Chriqui is a Canadian actress who has appeared on both television and the big screen. Her roles on HBO’s Entourage as Sloan, You Don’t Mess With The Zohan as Dalia Hakbarah, Unscripted as herself, along with two appearances on The O.C. as Jodie, have increased her visibility and exposure in the entertainment world. In May 2006, Maxim magazine named her no. 37 in its annual Hot 100 list.

Emmanuelle Chriqui How do you work off the cookies and cheese?
“I do Pilates and yoga, and I love to dance. I can crank up the music, have fun, and get all shaken up. I love hiking, too. I am craving a dog right now, but I just travel way too much. I can’t get one of those little dogs–I need a big dog in my life.”

Don’t freak over so-called imperfections “Never reveal your insecurities to a man, because nine times out of 10 they have no idea they even exist. Most guys are not as observant as women are. The hair on the side of your face or above your lip? Those five extra pounds? Trust me: They don’t notice!”

Let the real you shine through “For the record: I wear makeup. All. The. Time. But I do it in a way that looks natural. My skin is blotchy, and I’m Mediterranean—I’ve got dark circles. So I need foundation and concealer. One thing I swear by is Armani Silk foundation. It offers coverage, but it breathes, so people never think I’m wearing makeup. For under my eyes, I use Touche Eclat by Yves Saint Laurent, which I love because it’s moisturizing and creamy and blends into my skin without getting cakey. I also wear a bronzer—Cargo and Nars have great sun-kissed colors—just to give a little depth to my cheeks.”

Play up your best feature “I would say that my favorite part of my face is my eyes. I have very long lashes, but they’re not thick, so when I apply mascara—I love L’Oreal Voluminous—suddenly my eyes are transformed. It’s cool.

“I’ve also learned a few eye makeup tricks. For example, highlight your brow bone to give your eyes a more wide-open look. Also, as you’re applying mascara, twirl the brush—from the root [to the ends]—so the color covers the whole lash for a fuller look.”

Find a good role model “To me, natural beauty means having a real sense of confidence. I just think that there is something so incredibly sexy about a woman who takes care of herself and doesn’t try to bend to be something she’s not, like Robin Wright Penn, Meryl Streep, and Diane Lane. And Kate Winslet—I mean, my God! She’s gotten even more beautiful with age!”

Heather Graham strip club and the Hangover

Heather Joan Graham

Heather Graham Gallery

Heather Graham Gallery

DOB: January 29, 1970 is an American actress and fashion model.

Heather Graham says her visit to a strip club was very unimpressive, because the girls couldn’t dance.

Heather Graham was “disappointed” when she went to a strip club.

The actress learned to pole dance in preparation for her role as a stripper in ‘The Hangover’ and was astonished after seeing the less than impressive antics of her real-life counterparts.

She said: “I went to a strip club to prepare for the role but it was a big disappointment. I’d taken these classes on how to dance but if you go to a strip club, no-one’s dancing. Everyone just stands there. The girls are all just on stage and it’s all about lap dances.”

Heather is not the only celebrity who has learned to pole dance.

Supermodel Kate Moss showed off her skills in the White Stripes’ music video for ‘I Don’t Know What To Do With Myself’, while Britney Spears recently insisted a pole be installed in her hotel room.

The ‘Toxic’ singer – who is a huge fan of pole dancing as it helps maintain her new slender figure – made the unusual request to staff at London’s Dorchester Hotel, where she will be staying when she performs at the city’s O2 arena in June as part of the UK leg of her ‘Circus’ tour.

“Never say diet” according to the latest Shape Mag. Hmmm… I am always amused by such statements and looking at what Heather Graham eats, I can say without hesitation she does diet, but doesn’t know it. While there may be some extraordinary individuals who can eat whatever they want without gaining weight, for 99.49% of the population this does not hold true. A self described foodie, Heather Graham loves healthy Mexican and Japanese dishes.

Here’s one of Heather’s favorite recipes:

Heather’s Favorite Broccoli Recipe
While making a film in Dublin, Ireland last year, Heather got addicted to this crunch dish from Avoca Caf.

Serves: 4
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 5-7 minutes
Nutrition Score per serving:
(2 cups): 285 calories, 22 g fat (69% of calories), 4 g sat fat, 17 g carbs, 10 g protein, 7 g fiber, 176 mg calcium, 3 mg iron, 370 mg sodium

¾ cup hazelnuts
6 cups broccoli florets (bite size)
1 ½ cups cherry tomatoes, halved
4 oz feta cheese
¼ cup reduced-fat French dressing
Freshly ground pepper (optional)

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spread hazelnuts on a shallow pan and bake for 5 to 7 minutes or until golden brown. Rub off the skins with a clean kitchen towel and allow to cool.In a large mixing bowl, add broccoli, cherry tomatoes, and cheese. Add nuts once they’ve cooled. Pour on the dressing and toss gently to combine.

Celeb Diet Doctor Weigh In…
Here’s the deal. As a healthy foodie, Heather can control what goes in her dishes and judging by her recipe she’s eating low cal. People often get in trouble when they eat out because there are a lot of added stealth calories. The more you can prepare your meals at home the better you’ll be at controlling your calorie intake.

Heather works out on a daily basis and it shows. She says “I’ve been practicing yoga five days a week for 11 years. About two years ago I realized my stomach was kind of mushy, so I started doing Pilates twice a week to strengthen my abs. Now it feels and looks much more toned.” She also uses Transcendental Meditation to help her de-stress.

Heather, who is 37 btw, has got the bod of a woman in her 20’s. Her recipe of yoga and Pilates, along with being a healthy foodie is obviously paying off.
